"Overall a poor experience and not worth the money, would not recommend it to anyone. The instructor was very unhelpful, and did not always grade assignments in a timely manner. This can be a big problem, as you can't access the next section of courses until they grade a previous section."
"My son finished the Cybersecurity bootcamp with the expectation that the career center would provide support to helping him find a job. They never returned his emails, since they will not answer a phone call, and did not provide any support. Paid a lot of money for this bootcamp and the support was less than poor. Stay away from Berkeley Extension."
"Horrible experience. Professors do not want to work with you. Their "Start-any-time" courses are deceiving, you can NOT start them any time and they have to be started 90 days before the end date of the course, meaning you can't hustle and do it in a few weeks. Had a family medical emergency which prevented me from focusing on the class and professor did not want to work with me and the appeals department want you to send proof (doctor's letters, etc) just to redo the class. Not even refund, REDO the class. Never using this extension program again, would rather stick to UC San Diego again."
"The professor I had was good, but that was the only positive thing about my experience. Their customer service is just rude right out of the gate. And they price gouge in every possible way. You already know how expensive the classes are, but it doesn't stop there. For example, they want $20 for each transcript you request! The most any other institution has charged is $5. And for that price, you'd think they would at least provide an efficient method for ordering. But they don't. It's easily the most time consuming method I've endured. Berkeley Extension gives zero "f's" about your time or experience. They just want your money. If you have any other options, I suggest going somewhere else."
