Reviews
"Knowledgeable staff. If only the Walworth County Judicial Center and Sheriff's Office coordinated on behalf of domestic abuse victims with disabilities half as good as New Beginnings!"
"Ang did an amazing job I was beyond a Mental break down. I mentally couldn't help myself anymore through a bad situation someone put me through. It's truly nice when people can come together and help you get through the worse parts of life. Will and Carmen have also been extremely helpful as well. All together this is a safe place don't be afraid utilize help and move forward with life."
"This place is a lie they don't help with permanent help. A week in a hotel didn't her me back in my feet. I came from a hard upbringing I neverhad a chance to make it in life. My kids were used to make money off of and the system is a mess."
"Someone very near and dear to me attempted to injure himself with a handgun. Instead of getting the help he needed, these professionals recommended to the court that he not return home (increasing this person's depression and anxiety). His wife, who never feared for her safety, is now considered a "victim" of domestic violence because a handgun was involved in the incident. I have been a social work professional and therapist for over a decade and have extensive knowledge in domestic violence, crisis intervention, and suicidal ideations. Homicidal and suicidal ideations are two different things and should be treated far differently. This organization has failed to treat the very population they serve. A family, with no previous or past domestic violence incidents, are now ordered to be apart. A man that is greatly depressed is no longer able to return home, thus increasing his risk for self harm. These "professionals" should attend more training or classes. They are endangering people's lives."
"The "professionals" employed here should quit or complete DA training again. My Ex who abused me in all ways for 10 years, was trying to get me to kill myself buy ruining my life, taking every thing. Emotionally devastating my kids whom I spoiled while he ignored them. He's blatantly textbook abuser and they helped him by continuing to indirectly abuse attempting to get my landlord to kick me out"
