She's very good at getting to the center of the issues and understands when it might be time to move on from a topic. Unlike some therapists and counselors, she steers away from rhetoric and offers a refreshingly frank yet empathic response. She is very good at workplace counseling, even if it's not one of her declared specialties. With her guidance I came to understand what at the time was an extremely stressful and unfulfilling job wasn't healthy for my professional growth and I eventually upgraded to a much better job that has been a wonderful decision. I have bought and been working my way through every one of the books she's recommended and it's really been a journey of self-discovery.
