Dr. Melanie K. Schultz, MD

"Choosing Dr. Schultz as my obgyn doctor was the worst decision in my life and I paid for it with pain and suffering. I had at least 3 Obgyn doctors before her because insurance issues and they are all pretty good and one of them is excellent.Then I let my guard down, with no referral I found her without checking reviews (nothing available online back then) when she was still with 3-4 other doctors over in Tosa at Milwaukee Obgyn Office. The experience was extremely terrible and painful, it scarred me for many years. Dr. Schultz is cold, dry and very authoritative, not patient and not caring and most of all she doesn’t appreciate any questions from patients. She gets very defensive and agitated as if you are challenging her authority with questions. Once I was in the waiting area waiting for my appointment, bumped into a few fellow patients (used to be hers) were exchanging their experiences with the doctors in that office. When they learned about which doctor I was with, they started talking about the bad experiences they all had with her in the past and I was advised to switch to any other doctor in that office ASAP just like what they had done. I didn’t listen to them because my due date was coming up in a couple of months. A few days before my delivery (at my last appointment), I asked Dr. Schultz if it’s possible I can get a shot to induce labor over the weekend, she told me no. And when I further explained that I had another toddler needed care and I have no one else but my husband (working full time) in town, she got very angry and yelled at me: Between streets and hospital, just take your child to the hospital! I remember that I was so sad and cried all the way home. I delivered my child that Saturday under the care of an intern and she showed up only after my delivery was done. I only smiled at her and didn’t say a word to her. She is the worst doctor I have ever had!"
