"LeAnn has delivered all three of my babies so far, and all three were absolutely wonderful experiences. She is thorough in all she does, intelligent, and extremely capable at her job. In general, it is difficult to earn my trust, and LeAnn absolutely has done that. When I was pregnant with my first, I had only just set the first prenatal appointment at a local hospital, and immediately, I felt my options were already limited. I asked my husband if he would be willing to explore home birth options so we could make a fully informed choice. We went to the initial consultation armed with four pages worth of detailed questions on emergencies and transfer protocols and pitocin and resuscitation, and LeAnn answered every one with confidence. My husband and I went from "There's no way we're doing this" to "We're planning a home birth!" in one hour with LeAnn. The prenatal care was wonderful. LeAnn kept me accountable with nutrition tracking, exercise, stress management, you name it. In subsequent pregnancies, my little ones often came along to the appointments. She was absolutely respectful of all my choices. She, of course, made recommendations or gave suggestions based on her training and experience and medical knowledge, but left the decision in our hands! My births were great experiences. The postpartum care was phenomenal! I truly felt so taken care of and just... important. She is also very intuitive and just *knows* things. With my third, she knew from the first text I sent her ( "contractions medium intensity 10 min apart for an hour" ) that she had to get to me quickly. I had no idea at the time that my labor would be so short (2.5 hours), but somehow, she did and she got to me as soon as she could. And I'm so grateful we had her because if it'd been a hospital birth, I would have delivered unplanned and unassisted at home or in the car in a snowstorm!"
