"I think that because of its ever-changing nature, technology has always piqued my curiosity. I am immensely satisfied with the ever-changing world of IT, where each day brings new difficulties and opportunities for growth. To remain relevant, one must keep up with the latest innovations. Naturally, I gravitated toward an IT job, lured to the promise of overcoming technological challenges and assisting others in navigating the digital domain. I stumbled upon that among the many alternatives available, the IT Support Specialist Program at MATC's West Allis location in Milwaukee distinguishes it due to its comprehensive curriculum and practical approach. I noticed that this program not only communicates academic knowledge but also supplies invaluable hands-on experience, which is essential in the IT business. The instructors, who are esteemed experts in their fields, strengthen the learning environment by transferring real-world perspectives into the classroom. The decision to enroll in MATC's IT Computer Support program was motivated when I became aware of its exceptional reputation and constant dedication to equipping students for profitable careers in the IT profession. With a long history of generating qualified professionals, MATC's cost was also an important consideration in my decision-making process. I am convinced that the program supplied by MATC will help me achieve my career goals of becoming an IT professional. From both software and hardware diagnostics through networking and cybersecurity, the training covers a wide range of important topics. The inclusion of hands-on labs and possible internships delivers practical experience and gives you a competitive advantage in the employment market. What divides the IT Computer Support degree is its primary focus on practical skills. The projects reflect real-world IT scenarios, allowing for a smooth transition into a professional job. Furthermore, the curriculum includes excellent tools for certification preparation, which is an important component of job progression in the IT field. The pleasant learning environment at MATC's West Allis campus, along with modern facilities, well-equipped labs, and extensive library resources, adds to the educational experience. Furthermore, the school's flexible schedule choices meet the needs of employed individuals, allowing them to continue their education without interruption. With regard to prospective students taking on a similar journey, I advocate the following: fully involve yourself in the educational environment, seek guidance via instructors and peers whenever possible, maintain an insatiable curiosity about emerging technologies, and take advantage of internships in order to gain practical experience. Remember to enjoy the journey, since working in IT can be both tough and rewarding."
"I'm at the West Allis Campus studying for ITUSP, usually every other Monday and Thursday. I choose this for more then just to land a job in the field but also to improve on my understanding on computers and to better improve my communication to others. I personally cannot compare since this is the only college I have gone to for this, however I will say the staff here are phenomenal at what they do and help to the best of their abilities. I choose MATC for IT support because it was the closest campus to me and my bf recommended it to me when he was going to MATC for a completely different degree. I feel this is a good degree for those who enjoy problem solving, love for computers and technology and well those who would like to know more about their own devices so they can troubleshoot on their own and save themselves some money in the long run. I do feel it would be good to navigate back to being in the classroom more for technical stuff however since it can be challenging to do from home at times if you need help. Or at least offer both options, but that is more a personal opinion. The campus is otherwise amazing and I would recommend it if you have an interest in IT or any other degree."
"I am at the West Allis Campus, every other Friday, and take a blended online class. (IT-Networking) I have two remaining classes solely online, as well. I enjoy attending the West Allis campus because I am close to work. I like that after class I can utilize the computer lab or library to work on class assignments. It is a much quieter environment than the downtown college, which is a huge plus for me. Dr. Martinez is a wonderful professor and makes networking much easier to understand when I attend the in class sessions, allowing me to feel more confident in working in the IT field. If you are interested in IT you should consider reaching out to one of the Pathway Advisors to help you choose which program you would like to pursue (Networking Technican, Software Development, Coding-etc) and which campus would work best for you."

"I've always been into fixing and building computers. MATC offers a great program for IT support. I chose MATC because of its proximity to my house, and the great reputation it has for job placement for graduates. This program has been leading me to success in the field by giving me all the resources I need to succeed. I love the use of blackboard for online classes and for submitting work. The tutoring program is expansive and I recommend using it if you need to catch up or need a little help. Overall a great experience so far. The teachers are enthusiastic and helpful. They want to see you succeed and learn."
