Reviews
"Graduating this year in the class of 2016. Loved all four years here, the reviews are correct: Grades are earned and not given here. One of the premier if not the best school in the greater Milwaukee area. Marquette has allowed me to be myself and has offered me programs to participate in that interest me and I can not have asked for a better High school experience. Thank you MUHS"
"Marquette High School is set in the heart of Milwaukee. It is certainly one of the best schools in the area. The school was founded by Jesuits in 1857. It is an all male college preparatory institution. It has a reputation for being a ‘tough school’ in that grades are earned, not negotiated or ‘fudged’. Students from Marquette tend to have successful college careers. Marquette is not a ‘specialty’ school with emphasis on only particular subject (hotel management for example); they provide a well rounded education in everything from language arts and history to science and math. The school challenges the student rather than just passing them through. Being located in the middle of the city might provide difficulties for athletics however, There are full fields available (which seems out of place in such an urban setting) and Marquette is not a trivial rival in sports. (Note: I am not an alumni of the school nor do I have any connection to the school.) If you want one of the best schools Milwaukee has to offer, Marquette must certainly be a consideration."
"A Catholic Jesuit secondary school. Gives adequate importance to the arts as well as sports. Celebrates diversity, though the actual diversity is limited. A good place that strives to form "men for others"."
"Currently a student and I wasn't sure if I would like it there. But it's a great school."
"Phenomenal school. I'm currently a student there and love it; academics are very strong, and are balanced by a wide array of sports and other activities. There's a place for pretty much anyone here - Catholic, non-Catholic, it doesn't really matter - who's interested in a high-quality college prep experience."
