"We had a great time with Chef John! This is a great night out for a group of family, friends or a date night with your spouse! Great food! Right on chef!"
"What an incredible experience! The rooms are so elegantly decorated and intimate. The kitchen is huge with plenty of room for everyone. Chef John is engaging and very entertaining in addition to being an excellent chef. There was music, fun, lots of laughter, wine, food and great conversation. By the end of the night everyone felt like they had made many new friends. The food was incredible and we learned things about food and cooking along the way. Chef John goes out of his way to make the evening memorable. Thanks Chef John, staff and everyone for making a remarkable evening that we shall long remember and will bring us lasting smiles."
"We attended a recent Saturday night cooking class, it was such fun and unique experience. Chef John provides the right blend of information and entertainment throughout the evening. The staff also guides the process of preparing food for 20+ people with ease. Would we recommend? Yes Chef!"
"So many caveats to this review.. First, Chef John is a narcissist. He took over the evening and was demeaning to everyone he called out. It was meant to be comedy, but got very old after 4 hours. This isn’t a cooking school, it’s a cooking event. Groups are given a recipe to follow and you serve your dish (appetizer, salad, main, desert) in cadence. The food was fine but portions are small. You are guided by sous chefs, most of which are pursuing interests outside of the culinary world. Which is fine, but our chef’s heart really wasn’t in it. At a cost of $150/person (plus gratuity), it’s just not worth it. We sat at a folding table that had great decoration, but we almost toppled it 3 times because the legs were loose."
"Chef John and his sous chefs made sure we had a good time and some amazing food. Chef John is very entertaining and a total people person. We were greeted with Blini’s, had vine while cooking, met some people and had an amazing meal, picked up some cooking tips, too. We purchased the steak rub and we are considering the cookbook. We would definitely come back, even with the same meal! Modern, well equipped kitchen. What a great night!"
