"I'm not sure what happened today with the service provided by the person at the reception desk. I have always had a good experience in the past, but this is the first time seeing her at this office. It seems that she would benefit from additional training on customer service. I've been coming to this office for two years and only for the initial appointments I had to obtain approval from my primary care provider. She asked me for the referral form and I told her that I was previously told that I didn't need one every time that I come in. She didn't like my objection and told me that in the future I needed to have one. I said okay and went to sit down. As I was walking away she turned to the other person sitting next to her, behind the desk, and said "there's some weird energy here today". I felt alluded by her comment because I was the only patient there at 9am and it felt like she wanted me to hear her. I will give her the benefit of the doubt and let it go this time, but the interaction made the visit unpleasant."
