"The School and Staff were great here when I attended 2014-2017 for IT Network Specialist. The only issue I really ever had was having several General Education classes with High School kids."
"Very informative, the tour was good and the food from the culinary class was delish! They follow up with any help you need, from info, to web navigating. Fast response time. They are very welcoming, and even at my entry level to computers able to walk me through every step."
"This was the perfect college for me to attend as a non-traditional student. I had small class sizes and plenty of resources on campus to help me be successful. My instructors also had real-world experience and knowledge of the area I was studying, and I got to know them as well as my classmates during my two-year associate degree program. My program (Human Resources) had a good variety of classes offered in the evening as well as online, so I was able to work while in school. My tuition was affordable, and best of all, most of my credits transferred to UW-Stout, which has saved me a lot of money as I pursue my Bachelor's degree in Management!"
"Its an okay place to get your credits. Just because its a Tech college, don't think it'll be easy. The science programs are tough. My only real complaint is that it isn't very adult friendly. Not many evening offerings or limited day options. Most adult students can't go to class 3,4 or even 5 days a week for a class. They really need to look at the adult needs and start helping them out a bit more. I try for the hybrid classes, but they don't have a lot of these. Instructors so far have been great."
"I just graduated from this college and I did the majority of my classes online, a few at the river falls campus. The instructors I had were wonderful and understanding of work and family commitments, but you are paying to learn and hold you accountable for what you do and don't do, as they should.... They are your teachers! I learned a lot during my time at CVTC and am working in my field. I have chosen to return this fall to pursue another degree to help expand my options within (either) business or to open my own business in the future."
