"Im a disabled US Army veteran & the way Mr. Kubatze’s attitude & the way they tried to price gouge me was completely unacceptable & I will never do business with him or American Family ever again! Im on a fixed income & unemployable due to severe mental injuries sustained in my time in service. For some reason my automatic payment didn’t go through. The last day to make my payment on my policy before it lapsed was scheduled on Sunday just one day before my next VA Compensation check came in. I called immediately on Monday morning to see if we could keep my policy going because I had just got the money! They said that no, unfortunately they would have to draw a new one. I said fine. Bit then they quoted me a premium that was $75 more a month than I was previously paying!! Car insurance used to go down as you got older & had a relatively clean driving record in which I have! No accidents, I haven’t had a speeding ticket since 2010 & that was because I was driving 95 back to Ft. Leavenworth, KS to respond to a riot at the United States Disciplinary Barracks where my friend was being held hostage during a riot in the Segregated Housing Unit but the Ahole cop gave me a ticket anyways! However, getting back to this chumps business! I couldn’t afford & when I talked to Mr. Kubatze about it he laughed at me in words to the effect of & told me too bad that’s the price! F you Kubatze! Id love to see you in person & knock your pretty white teeth down your grinning throathole! (hypothetically speaking of course but Im mad enough) Laughing at financially challenged disabled Iraq Veterans is this guys way of amusing himself? Pathetic! Go somewhere else for insurance! This guys a jerk!"

"Since having my renters & car insurance bundled through American Family (Riley K) I have always had the worst customer experience. Rude, short, and not genuine what so ever. Karen in the office is a snob to be put bluntly. How ironic. I avoided for years switching because of the hassle, but taking the time to find affordable fair priced insurance was worth it. I was with them since 2018. They don’t care if you’re a loyal customer, good payment history, good driving record, or filing a claim. Which I have never once filed a claim. About 10K waisted, and I finally switched to State Farm. I now pay 70$ less."
