Atonement Lutheran School

"Atonement has went downhill. They use to have teachers that cared. They're hiring young teachers with no experience and lack of self control. My son teacher only reply to negative comments. I've tried to step up meetings only to get hung up on. The same 4th grade teacher later sent a text message apologizing. When I reached out several times to her about his academics there was NEVER a reply. The teacher only replied to negative things. I still have the text messages to prove it. A teacher job is to help not hinder. I never had to deal with this before. Atonement Lutheran has let me and my children down. What happened to the old teachers, that cared about children well-being? Atonement Lutheran is a military school now nothing less nothing more. I've sat in class, talked to the teacher she never once gave me information about my son well-being. I'm very disappointed and hurt. As a parent ('my job was to be there and that's what WE did. This is definitely his last year there. Atonement Lutheran needs to do evaluations on teachers before hiring. There's no perfect child, but there were times teachers cared about the children. Just today my child asked a question and had to stand in the back of the class MISSING work again. I'm putting it in Gods hands knowing and praying it will all work out. You can't teach and not care it doesn't mix."
