Reviews of World's Largest Buffalo
"I loved my visit in Jamestown this past fall! And this was one of the places my partner and I stopped at. I had so much fun, and it was amazing to see such a big bison statue! The museum was also very intriguing and I loved learning all I could well I was there."
"Very cute place. People are friendly. I pulled in just as everything was closing so i rushed through, but loved it. Had fun feeding the Buffalo in the back of the gift shop. Paid $8 for museum but didn't have time to enjoy it thoroughly. But what I read/saw was worth it."
"Cute area! The pioneer village was enjoyable and there was a telephone number to call for information about each stop in the village. My little boy laughed so hard at the anatomically correct giant buffalo."
"This is brilliant and well worth a visit. Its a really impressive statue of a bison and can be seen from miles away. The little early pioneer village next to it is also very interesting, as is the museum. If you are going along the I-94, its well worth stopping here to take pictures. The only thing they should do is paint the concrete base green, otherwise very impressive."
"Such a funny and educational place! Ive been in North Dakota for a couple of months for work, on the surface, there isn’t much to do here, but this is truly a hidden little gem. Only about an hour from Fargo, and absolutely worth the drive. Not only are the views on the way beautiful, the destination is so charming! I was expecting to only see a big statue, and was instead surprised by an educational and entertaining museum, a park, and a wonderfully preserved little pioneer town. The street leading to the Buffalo statue is lined with preserved buildings, the insides of each also preserved for the public to view and interact with. There is also a small park for the kids, and herds of wild Buffalo you can see from the binoculars provided on site. Super cool experience and a must-do if you’re visiting the area!"
