"I initially went to the Brea location to see an ophthalmologist for my eye health and to check what my options were for Lasik or any procedure -- Dr. Bañuelos apparently doesn't have experience with LASIK or surgery, also one of their machines was broken at that time so they only did a basic eye test with the autor refractor machine (the one where you focus on a hot air balloon). So she recommended I see Dr. Gwynn at the Santa Ana location and they sent me off with an appointment the following Monday. I go to the appointment, I paid a second $65 copay, only to have my eyes dilated and for Dr. Gwynn to come in check my eyes and tell me that they need to schedule another two separate appointments at the Brea location because he needed more data on my eyes to see if I am a candidate for LASIK and (again) their machine wasn't working at the Santa Ana location! ARE THEIR MACHINES BROKEN AT ALL LOCATIONS?! So I go to Brea for a 3rd appointment to see a "specialist" only to pay a third copay of $65 and all they did was another test with the auto refractor machine (again the hot air balloon) test and that was it! You're telling me that they had to do the same test twice within the same two weeks?! Couldn't they use the information from the first hot air balloon test?! I really feel like they are charging me a lot of money for simple tests. To make matters worse, also when they dilated my eyes both times, they didn't even offer sunglasses or "sun covers"... this is pretty damn standard at ANY optometrist office. I went to SoCal Eye in Los Alamitos and they literally did all the same tests, additional retinal testing with the Optos machine + LASIK consult all in the same office and visit!! I have a 4th upcoming appointment at Tayani to see another doctor on whether I qualify for LASIK through them, but honestly at this point I don't even know if I want to continue coming to see Tayani doctors... we'll see how it goes. "The clerk at the front desk was incredibly rude! I've been going to her Doctor's for year's. Business's are struggling to stay open. Her inability to treat people with kindness has now lost a client for the Doctor."

"I have been seeing Dr. Berk for many years now. He always has an easygoing manner and takes the time to explain everything very well. At the front, Linda was amazing. She took the time to help me pick out a pair of frames that looked great on me. Her input and suggestions were great and she wasn’t a pushy salesperson. She usually works at the San Clemente Office but I hope they bring her to the Santa Ana location permanently."

"After reading several great reviews for this office I was looking forward to my son’s eye exam. Unfortunately, the entire process was truly disappointing. Customers are required to wear masks in the office but the woman at the reception desk was not wearing her mask. She had it dangling from her ear as she spoke to customers. She seems to be the office manager. My son had his appointment at 9:30 am but wasn’t seen until 11am by the ophthalmologist. I had to ask how much longer the wait would be and the receptionist had to go look for the doctor because apparently my son should have already been seen. Everything seemed so disorganized, the employees looked like they were miserable. The receptionist/ office manager was on her phone scrolling through Instagram behind the front desk while I was waiting to get help after choosing glasses for my son. Then when I went to pick up my son’s glasses the ladies at the front desk seemed confused as they were sifting through several disorganized trays of glasses. Again, the receptionist that seemed in charge was very unprofessional. Once she found the glasses she handed my son dirty and dusty glasses to try on. When I asked her to please clean the glasses before my son tried them on she told me there was no point in cleaning the glasses since she was going to dirty them again when she would have to remove the sticker on the side of the glasses. I kindly asked her to please clean the glasses anyway. I wanted to make sure my son could see clearly through the lenses. Another lady at the front desk ended up cleaning the lenses for my son. The woman that seems to be in charge at the front desk is completely unprofessional, disorganized, and has a total disregard for customer service. I was not impressed by any of the service at the office. There was very little communication or feedback during the exam. We will not be returning to this disorganized, outdated, and unprofessional office."

Large showroom, large exam rooms, superb doctors (Bill Berke is my favorite), knowledgeable front desk staff, affordable, and a great turnaround time for your orders because they have their own lab on premises."
