"Dr Mudiyam performed a Microdisectomy at the L4, L5 level in mid November, installing a Co-flex device to maintain spacing and movement. The care, concern and skill of Dr Mudiyam and the entire Newport Orthopedic Institute and Hoag Orthopedic Hospital staff was off the roof! Having respiratory issues, I had to stay a couple of extra night at the Sand Canyon hospital. The additional care and expertise from other areas of the Hoag facility was excellent and very comforting to me as I was experiencing my issues! 3 weeks have passed since surgery and I am very mobile and pain free after over 40 years of constant pain and discomfort. I can hardly wait to get into serious rehabilitation and take my golf handicap back down into single digits.
