"If I can give this place -5 stars I would, I was a lab rat for this place that “Dr.Xing” is terrible he laughs because of his tick, he giggled after explaining to you a life changing circumstance he giggles at my liver results coming back high due to large amounts of medication. He could not control my seizures and was mixing multiple drugs to “try and help” but it was destroying me I was even hallucinating with the mixes he was doing and had no care as to what he was giving me. When I went to a UCLA neurologist they were surprised by the medication he had me on and said this doesn’t make sense it doesn’t help the part of your brain you are seizing from why did he have you on these medications. They instantly changed my medications and lord behold I am now going on 2 years seizure free. With Truong I was in the worst part of my life so far, the only time he stopped giving me hand Fulls of medications was when I said I started to feel depressed and suicidal and that’s only because they were scared of being liable for a death. Terrible place to go they will have you KILLED slowly but surely they do not know what they are doing and even use old imaging to “help you” right now when I left even though I have insurance they are billing me $800 for no reason when i called I was sent to a third party to resolve this and was told this is past what my insurance can cover and my insurance does not cover this but I have medical? they cover everything? They just got upset I left to a better neurological center. At ucla they have the top of the line services and doctors they have the top of the line imaging departments and with someone like me who suffers from memory problems they keep me updated and informed when I told them my problems. They care but Truong only cares about money and that Xing guy is terrible he will tell you, that you have brain cancer and start giggling after, because of his tick it’s a terrible feeling to go through. Please do yourself a favor report them if you can and try and go to UCLA they will change your life. They questioned Xing like would they give you this medicine and that other one if doesn’t help with that part of your brain? Please please do not go here I was just a lab rat for them they are unprofessional and do not know what they are doing please do not go PLEASE!!!! a nice waiting room does not equate to a good dr they are more focused on writing books about studies they did. UCLA has written hundreds of them and does fill the waiting room with this book and this award. No! Because they focus on you the patient. When I talked to him about my liver concerns and a liver failure his answer was when we get there we will deal with it. Like what???!??? That clearly shows they do not care!"
"Not caring at all. I waited 6 weeks for the appointment and 1 hour and 15 minutes before they closed on a friday they said I have til the end of the day to call and verify my insurance or they were cancelling my Mondays appointment. They could have checked my insurance earlier. Also brain patients may have a bad memory or many problems and need more reminders than that and more notice to correct my insurance. I did have the same plan and just a new member ID. I cancelled my appointment because I do not want to be in the care of an office like that. The front staff needs to be counseled on how to treat patients. My family doctor sends a reminder a week ahead and has where you can update insurance cards on my chart and this place needs to learn better customer care to make it easier to know if there's an insurance problem and give more notice about cancelling your appointment than just 1 hour."
"Went to my 1st appointment with this Dr and I can't express how satisfied I was and how the M.A and Dr showed concern to my problem that I was having. For the 1st time they did not point out that it was due to being overweight. They showed compassion and understanding to the problem I was having. Most definitely would recommend this place for neurologist. Ps little to no wait time."
"VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO NEVER TO USE DR. Deepmala Nandanwar. My husband had 1 appt that we thought went great and they had us even wait 15mins to make a f/u appt then sent him a letter that he cant return. As soon asshe walked in, she looked him up and down and judged him over having tattoos. WELCOME TO THE 24TH CENTURY LADY!!! everyone has tattoos!!!!! " irreconcilable difference " was her lame a$$ excuse when there was no arguing. this was our 1st 45min new pt appt."
"Horrible Doctor, Horrible Practice, Dr. Frank Xing is the most uncaring unprofessional doctor I’ve ever had the bad fortune to be referred to in my life. He doesn’t care about the pain you’re in, he doesn’t listen to what you tell him, and he doesn’t take the time to explain anything. He has a short canned script he recites and does not deviate from it. I had a complicated nerve test performed by his office, and all he told me about it was “It’s slow.” He refused to explain anything else about the test. Even though I asked many questions. If you’re ever referred to this office, do yourself a favor and get another referral. My first appointment with Dr Xing was in early August 2022 due to excruciating pain in my elbow. I had previously seen my surgeon who found I needed surgery to rectify my problem, but needed a test to be conducted by Dr. Frank Xing to proceed. I explained my situation to Dr. Xing and he promised he would get the test done within 3 weeks due to the pain I was in. He sent me to the front desk to schedule the appointment. The scheduler told me the earliest I could get in was seven weeks later. I told her no, Dr Xing just promised to do the test within three weeks. I asked her to go speak with him. She did, she then told me he said the best he can do is in seven weeks. I subsequently called his office and asked to be scheduled in if there were any cancellations. My doctor’s office called his office to try to get him to schedule me earlier. My surgeon told me, as soon as he gets the test results from Dr Xing he would perform the surgery. Regardless, I had to wait the entire seven weeks in excruciating pain. In my appointment with Dr. Frank Xing seven weeks later to receive the results of the nerve test, his entire explanation of the three-page complicated test results was: “it’s slow.” Apparently referring to my nerve. He literally refused to explain any further, even though I asked many questions. I was appalled and disappointed. This guy shouldn’t be practicing medicine."
