Reviews of Wheel & Sprocket
"Friendly and extremely helpful staff while purchasing my new bike. Any questions I had they were quick to help and guide me in the right direction."
"Nice staff, but absolute terrible service. I brought my bike in to get a new bottom bracket and cranks installed. When I went to go pick it up, the bike was filthy with grease all over the bike. Then they charged me for a front derailleur adjustment when I didn't ask them to. The biggest joke was the charge for them to remove the pedals. I left them on so they could adjust the rear derailleur and there was no mention of the fee. As soon as I go home I put the bike up on a stand to check the shifting. It was worse than when I brought it in. Charged me for adjustments that I had to go home and correct. The first ride I was able to make it about 5 miles before the cranks came loose and some terrible creaking. I took it back and had to wait a few days to get it back. While they had it I had to call them and tell them how to troubleshoot the creaking. When I went to go pick it up I noticed there was grease all over the bike again... I couldn't get a straight answer on the cranks other than, "We removed them and put them back on." Then, they took the wheel off another customer's bike and put it on mine to show it was the hub creaking. I'd be furious to know they're using customer bikes as test mules. Finally got around to riding it yesterday and....cranks come loose again. Pulled everything apart. No loctite on the spindle, missing washers, no pedal washers, pre load adjuster not tightened."
"We bought our bikes at Wheel and Sprocket a few months ago. We had amazing service, especially compared to other bike shops in the area. We recently came in for help with a flat tire, and the staff was friendly and helpful yet again, particularly Dave, who helped us out with replacing the tube."
"I brought my family here to look at bikes. I know hardly anything about bikes so don’t worry if you aren’t a pro, the guys here will answer any questions and treat you with respect. I first met Dave, who set me up with a specific hybrid bike that my bad back could handle. Super nice guy, very humble and knowledgeable and he let me take the bike out for a test ride. I ended up buying it because I liked it that much. After riding it once at home, there was a clicking sound it was making and shifting would sometimes throw the chain off and I was very concerned. I brought it back in and spoke to Jacorian, who it turns out is some sort of magician with bikes and also a really cool and friendly guy. Jacorian knew exactly what to do with the bike, fixed it on the spot, did a little test ride, and then explained to me his findings. It was actually really cool to see how he works and how passionate he is at his craft. My bike just needed some tightening in certain places and minor adjustments. After that, the bike was a solid ride and I hit the trail later that day. In truth, I was skeptical of how good the service here would be, but in the end, I was so impressed and happy with the result that I bought the 3 year Gold service plan. To the guys in the shop, maybe it’s just another easy quick fix, but for someone like me, it really made my day. Now I can just go ride and know my bike is in good hands. Keep up the great service guys! I appreciate it!"
"From start to finish this was such a super easy and enjoyable process. The owner is hands on and personally reached out to me witch was a really nice touch. I live in Seattle and they handled the shipping and packaging like real professionals. I could not be any happier, this bike was a hard one to find, and they not only had the bike, but at an excellent price too. A real class act, I will be for sure recommending them to any and all. They went above and beyond, communication was excellent, thank you guys so much! -Nick"
