"I have mixed feelings about Horse Emporium. I want to support a local business in the equine industry, but half the time I encounter rude and unprofessional behavior by the staff. Equine products are often quite expensive and I prefer to spend my money where I am a valued customer, which I often don’t feel at this store. It’s a shame because I’ve also had good experiences, where we were instructed in compression wrapping my horse’s leg, etc. But today I called looking for a specific Winter equestrian glove and was treated very disrespectfully. The bad experiences outweigh the good, and while we have supported them with some pretty large purchases in the past… I think it’s time to find a new local equine shop."

"This is where I bought my first pair of English riding boots and this will definitely be my go-to shop! Upon entering I was happily greeted and asked if I needed any help, and when I stated what I needed help with, I was helped without any hesitation. Tracy was very knowledgeable and kind while helping me try on different types of boots, explaining the pros and cons of each and even explaining the types of leather to me. She even asked what I would be doing in my new boots so she could help me decide on a style that would fit to my needs. I asked for boot care accessories and she even went as far as to show me different types of methods to clean them. Ultimately, this experience felt very personal and I left extremely satisfied with my purchases. TLDR: Great staff, great service, staff very knowledgeable and will personalize your experience so you are left happy with your purchases."

"LOVE LOVE LOVE it here! You walk in, are asked if you need any help, if you don't they let you shop on your own without nagging, and if they do, they help you without an issue! They treat you like family, they talk about there horses and ask about yours! Their consignment area is heavenly! Great selection, at low prices! I never walk out of the store barehanded! Staff there is amazing and they hire disabled people which is AMAZING! There halter wall is amazing as well, from leather shipping halter, to really nice rope halters! They always have an amazing selection of bits, and there saddles are nicely priced! Their blanket selections, 99.5% of the time you can find the exact blanket you want in your sizes! And check out is usually pretty fast! 100% recommend to everyone I hear that needs new horses items or is getting their first horse!! Totally worth the time and money!"
