"So funny, first time seeing my son in CA, I was in a rental car, went close to the Franklin gate, got my son right outside the gate, went in to the gate and our car was fully inspected! The guards at the gate were very nice and are keeping our country safe."

"Monterey California as a great place to visit.The Franklin Gate to get on base is a more restrictive gate. However, visitors can go to the Bolio Gate. Either way, the people are very friendly and take pride in their local businesses, which are great and I enjoyed its history."
