"The public defenders in this county are a dedicated, experienced, compassionate, and very able group of attorneys. Unfortunately, they are also overworked and underpaid. Sometimes they do not return phone calls to clients as promptly as they would like, and can’t hand-hold clients, or repeatedly talk to client’s family members. As a whole, they do very well for their clients in court. And they counsel clients how to avoid criminal problems in the future through drug and alcohol programs, mental health counseling, and other means. Unfortunately, it’s often the clients who don’t listen to their attorneys or counselors, who repeatedly return to jail and then blame their attorneys on internet sites like this one. I have worked with many of these attorneys and recommend them highly."

"Dont EVER use Ronald Crawford as your public defender. Not only does he not contact you, but he also doesnt review your case until seconds you're about to walk into court. What's even worst...is that he doesnt even bother to ask your side of the story!!!! Instead he tries to get you to settle for whatever you're being charged with. He is without a doubt, the absolute worst public defender in the world. He truly represents what actual lawyers mock."
