International Gateways

"I started my Masters in Urban Planning 4 weeks ago (Spring 2024) at SJSU. Since the first day, I have been remembering my excellent decision to study at International Gateways before applying for the Master's degree. During these last weeks, I have understood my classes, also I can contextualize myself with historical and cultural North American references. I am reading tons of chapters at an appropriate speed without translating any word, and I am writing e-mails and assignments with accurate feedback, which means that I am expressing myself and I am being understood. Additionally, today I will make my first presentation and all the practice that I had last semester makes me more confident for today. Besides all the pleasure moments in the classes, I would like to recognize the value of the work that the teachers have been doing for international students at the International Gateways course."

Every teacher and advisor in here were friendly and enthusiastic to students as well as those course they provided were interesting and really helpful. Teachers here are so professional and friendly, they always try their best to deliver English knowledge, and U.S cultures as well. So proud of being a part of IG programs."
