"The doctor I saw before told me there was nothing he could do for me and told me to go back to my primary care doctor. They sent me to Doc (Dr. Kroopf) and she started treating me. This was a year ago, I was waking up with my pain level at a 7 and usually ending my day at a 8 or 9, hoping not to get to a 10. I am doing much better now, I wake up at a 3 now. I'm still getting treated and go in to see Dr. Kroopf every two weeks. I think of Dr. Kroopf like St. Jude the Patron Saint of Hopeless Causes, because I felt hopeless with my neck pain. I thought nobody could help me and I could not function. I couldn't do anything. Dr. Kroopf helped me so much. I have hope now that my pain will continue to get better. For me she has worked a miracle. When a doctor tells you he can't help you and not to come back, that makes you feel hopeless. I was in such despair and then GOD sent me Doc. My personal St. Jude."
"I've been going to Dr Kroopf for only the last couple months and she and her staff have been great. I've had an issue she's been working on and I've been very impressed with her ability to conclude proper treatment and her communication. Definitely recommend them if you have pain issues."
"BIG RED FLAG! I liked Dr Kroopf and her back office staff. Front office is horrible. Rude and argumentative. BUT the worst was after my appointment when I checked out I was asked to give them my credit card! I have Medicare and a supplement to pay for my visit. When I asked why they needed my card the woman said "we get a credit card from all of Dr Kroopf's patients". So no actual explanation as to why they needed it. I said no and the woman argued with me saying they had to have it. I asked again why and she said that it was stated in the new patient information I was emailed. First, they have no idea how ridiculous their patient questionnaire is although I told them, there is a button that says "click and sign" which brings up a signature box, but no document to review. The only document visible to me on my email was the questionnaire. I have never had a medical professional or office/hospital ask me to leave my credit card number with them and after this experience I would certainly not be giving it to this office!"
"I was hesitant to leave a review with Doctor Kroops office. Let me preface this by saying that I’ve been seeing her for care for a back injury for years. Doctor Kroopf herself has been nothing but amazing. Her office staff, especially the last couple years have been a nightmare to deal with . While I know workers compensation insurance claims can be difficult to deal with, having an office staff that doesn’t not follow through , makes it worse. I’ve had multiple incidents where my prescription medications were either sent to the wrong pharmacy, not submitted at all or not following up with the pharmacy when the pharmacy requested things like a treatment plan . I’ve had to repeatedly contact the doctors office for years to resolve these issues , sometimes leaving me without my pain medications for extended periods of time . On two occasions, I’ve had to go to the emergency room for care because of the pain I was in. The latest incident started almost a month and a half ago, when I requested a medications refill and another lidocaine injection because of the increasing pain I was dealing with. I was finally able to see Doctor Shelby who said she would request the medications and procedure. I was not able to get my medication for almost a month because they didn’t submit the treatment plan that was requested by the pharmacy . I had to finally go into the doctors office after multiple telephone calls and messages before they finally submitted the proper paperwork and I was able to get my medications During this same time period, I had messaged Doctor Kroopfs office on at least 3 other occasions about my procedure and all they would tell me was that they were waiting for authorizations from workers compensation. About a week ago, I received a telephone call and informed by doctor Kroopfs office that they would no longer be providing me with care and I needed to find another doctor. When I asked for a reason, they said they could not provide one. It sound like I was not the only person to leave a similar review about the office staff . Like another person who left a review, I have multiple messages that I have copies of from both Klara and now mychart, showing some of the blatant disregard for patient care."
"What an amazing experience! As a severe migraine sufferer for years, I have not had relief until Dr Kroopf treated me. No pain for several weeks! And she's a tremendous person! Can't recommend her enough."
