"This park is near many bike trails, so that's likely the best way to see it. There's a small monument in the middle, with a sort of sculpture. There's a significant stairway to the upper park. If you or your dog or bike don't like steps, stick to the lower level. From the upper park, you can see both downtown Saint Paul and Minneapolis."
"A fairly large park tucked beneath the highways and overpasses of St. Paul's east side. There is a large loop that goes around a stream/pond in the center. The amount of algae in the pond and smells makes me think there might be a sewer leak. You loose quite a bit of the city noise down here along with the wind but the trash is a bit dissapointing... nice escape, perhaps it feels more natural once summer greenery takes over."
"Swede Hollow Park is a cool place to visit but it needs our help for clean up and renewal of the area so more will feel safe to visit. Please be careful there are some people off 7th street that can be" Unpredictable " Be Safe and use Caution ⚠️"
"Was looking reasonably clean and well maintained. This must be one of the oldest parks in the city, its only handkerchief sized. The most interesting things here are actually outside it. Take in the antiquated Nordic architectural themes across the street and nearby on neighborhood grand old mansions. Descend the several flights of steep stone steps behind to discover a sort of bike path grand central station where various routes fan out all across the city"
"I love the path, the swedehenge, the history. I love the stairs for a little workout. I love it through spring, summer and fall. I love the little path where the mansion was long ago. I also love the old brewery and what Flat Earth has done with their section of it. I love it all over. The homeless people that live there seem nice, too... I just wish they would be smarter with their fires so the fire dept doesn't have to waste time and money putting out trees."
