"If I could give 0 and leave a review I would. Just because they are attached to a big name, doesn't mean they are held accountable for anything. The "tax pro" we worked with asked no questions but w2s and 1095. Being new to homeownership we were unaware of some deductions available to us. We found we were able to save due to this error, and get a smaller tax liability while filing our taxes elsewhere. So based on the main H&R Block guarantee VERY CLEARLY specified on their website (easy to find), we were entitled to a refund of the "tax pros" filing services, and, as stated, could have them filed amended at no charge. When we contact this business, they refused the guarantee. Told my husband it was our fault for not knowing (why do you go to a tax pro place??). Now working my way through h&r corporate because they didn't file or give the refund at this point. Fun"

"They took my data without sitting down to interview. After a week I called to ask how things were going. I got not no reply. About a week later I called again and was told they wanted the instruction on my broker's web site. If I hadn't called again no telling when they would have called me, if at all. I see no reason to printout pages and pages of instructions when they should know what to do. Took my data back and will not use H&R block because they don't seem to have professional people."

"I had an appointment at the begin of February they took all our stuff to do it as they were not doing in person appointments. well I didn't hear from them for 3 weeks after and only because I kept calling and bugged them till they finally gave me some answers. They had lost all our stuff and instead of calling to tell me they just acted as if we had never drooped it off even though we had the paper work proving we had. Now they are not keeping me up to date on the status of my return like the have been for someone else I know 100% will never use them again"
