Reviews of Johnson Ford of New Richmond
"Today Johnson Ford lost my business and my six family vehicles. I have taken my truck there many times under warranty, but today was the first time without the warranty. I asked for two things and was texted a list of around eight items they claimed needed immediate repair. One of these items was swollen lug nuts. This is actually a thing but they’re replaced one at a time not the whole lot for hundreds of dollars. The estimate was over $2,500. I filled out their little text app and received a quote for the original work I asked for and a couple hours later received another text “notice that I haven’t actually spoken to a real person yet”, anyway the text said they were done and the bill was triple what I had agreed to with their cheeky little app. I knew why but I didn’t care because it was manipulative and unethical. I complained when I picked up the truck but the service rep couldn’t say anything except that I agreed to the price earlier, even though I was trying to get him to understand that the price should have been listed as a total cost and not just a partial cost. He was stuck in saying it was my fault and I agreed to it and he just very quickly handed over my keys and wanted me gone!!!! I really don’t understand why contractors and dealerships are able to SCREW people without conscious or consequence. Well today they lost my vehicle and that of my wife and four children. Wow, that’s a lot of money they just wasted"
"I want to start by saying that I was probably one of the most simple sales ever. I used to sell cars and I am still in sales so I try to keep things simple. I knew exactly what I wanted and had most of my ducks in a row. I went to this dealership because I saw the car online. Upon my arrival everyone was very accomidating and professional. Everything seemed like it was going to go very smoothly. I had a bit of a delay on being able to buy the car right away that day. The staff was kind, understanding and did a great job with follow up and did what they said they would do. Unfortunately, I notice a couple things that would affect the price of the car. I was just unaware of how dramatically it was. I bought a 2012 AUDI Q7 and there was no skid plates on the car. When I asked about them and pointed it out... nothing. I explained my concern about these being missing along with the cargo cover for the rear. I told the sales staff that this was probably around about $1,000 worth of work that this car should have. I went to the AUDI dealer and these missing skid plates are to protect the underside of the car and engine and also to cool the engine and direct airflow. I found out that what this car is missing is worth over $2,400 in just parts without labor. How can this be sold with such expensive pieces missing? I guess that is really my only issue other than the management and sales wanting to play the back and fourth cat and mouse negotiations. I appreciate the dealers that have the car priced and that do not waiver because they already have it marked as a great or good deal. This even after 2 large price drops was still graded as a fair price. I also paid for the car in full and the dealer was willing to lose the deal over $50. I told them I wanted the car delivered like they eventually took off of the table. I also gave them the price I was willing to pay and they came back with a "if you pick it up today" deal. $50 more than my offer and I come get it? I am a single Dad and have a service animal so this is not the most convenient thing for me to have to do. I wish they would have been less "urgent" and allowed me to give them a deposit down to hold the car and price so I did not feel rushed or closed when I was purchasing. I would recommend them making sure if a car is missing $2,400+ in parts to make it whole or $3k with the cargo cover, that in the future, they adjust the price to reflect this issue. The plates, hardware, and the cargo cover are all together over a $3k expense I now get to look forward to. If another $1,000 was taken off for missing the plates my review would have been flawless. My sales guy, the manager, and the finance person were all great to work with. All in all thumbs up!!"
"Awesome experience in every aspect. Was called personally by the GM to work through the deal. Great trade value combined with a really good price on the 2023 F250 we purchased. David, Joey, and the entire finance team were fast and efficient upon arrival. No wasted time. Just good prompt service. We will definitely be back again!!"
"Friendly staff, (Our Service Rep was Hunter. ) quick & easy service, nice lounge area with coffee/water light snacks - (100% Drama free) will return for sure."
"When you walk into Johnson Ford you are immediately welcomed into this dealership family! I live in the Twin Cities and even though it is an awesome and beautiful drive, not too far away, there are Ford dealers all along the way that are closer. But I would never go to anyone else just because of the personalized care and consideration that this place offers. It's an experience you won't get anywhere else! They know what they are selling from hood to rear their knowledge is top notch."
