"There used to be a massive cedar tree just north of the bridge. Had to have been 400-500 years old. Was uprooted by the flood in 2012. Very sad."

"This historic old bridge on West Skyline Parkway is quite striking! It's the only bridge on Skyline Parkway on the National Register of historic structures. Beautiful architecture. Love the saw tooth rocks that decorate the top of the bridge. Next to it is a monument to former Mayor Sam Snively. It has a reflecting pool that is fed by a natural spring. When the water flowing over the rock wall it's really cool."
