"I have been a member of the community for many years since I moved here when I was 7 years old. I remember going on walks with my family through this school as a kid and really enjoyed it. Now with my wife and kids, every time I have tried to walk through campus we are ushered away by security guards. I’m a bit surprised because most universities try to foster good community relations."

"I needed a new prescription for contacts, which I require. Went to local optometrists who could not help with my situation. I used to go to So. Cal College of Optometry and was helped by Dr. Lam. She saw me 4 times, (sorry,Doc!) but gave me the correct prescription. She is the BEST! If you need the best, you will not be disappointed."

"I am not sure why local guides are writing reviews here. You would not know unless you actually attended here. I attended from 98-2000 transferred here from OCC in 98. I would not say this is UCI or Chapman caliber, but the best part is you get a good degree for the least amount of money with no student loans when you graduate. School fees everywhere are now so outrageous. You could get a decent Computer/business or Engineering degree for $7000 fees a year. All professors I met were good and they cared about students. Most are approachable with office hours. Great baseball team - won college world series a few times. You would get the most value out of a college degree here."

"It's an overall great university. They professors are generally wonderful despite a few bad apples. The bad side is that the library makes it really burdensome to get a library pass with ease in order to borrow material"
