"Love my apartment, the view of the golf course, the residents , management is great and so helpful although it changes frequently, Jason was excellent maintainance, so far so good with our new maintenance, The amenities are excellent . I’ve been here since March 2022 and at first the landscaping was not good but it is vastly improved and beautiful so kudos for the improvement. Just one issue baffles me and it is pet urine in the elevator and the hallways. It is an ongoing problem. I have lived in three previous senior apartments and have not experienced this. To be fair management cleans the carpets but the next day fresh urine spots are present. I see no responsibility taken by the pet owners to clean up. I had a puppy at one of the past apartments and it was a grave offense to leave a pet stain and there were steep fines for repeated occurrences. . It is a complex issue but if this issue was resolved it would be an over the top place to live. I really enjoy living here but not walking on pet stains , nor getting into a smelly elevator."

"3/8/2023: (***Adding to my previous "review" which was a positive maint. comment) I also want to mention to anyone thinking about moving into this complex, make sure to ask a lot of questions before signing a lease. Ask about safety. Ask about outdoor upkeep/responsibility for pet waste. Ask about increases. Ask about ceiling fans - some people got them but now it's "not in the budget." Ask about golf balls flying into the parking lot from the golf course (and hitting cars, people, pets.) Ask about "smoke-free building" and various smoke smells, especially weekends when management not on site. Ask about noise/children in the building (isn't it a 55+ building?) The "office" gives a lot of "we'll look into it" as a standard answer for questions, concerns, complaints. A person absolutely cannot sublet or get out of a lease even one month early, despite the website (previously indicating) that they had a waitlist for all units. Living here was, unfortunately, a huge learning experience for me. Just make sure you really really want to live here before you sign a lease. ______________________________________________________________ *This review is only to compliment the maintenance technician, Jason. * ****Jason gets 4 stars **** I submitted a maintenance request last night because I was having issues with lights flickering, and the breaker / fuse blowing a couple of times in less than 10 days. He had replaced bulbs (high ceilings, so maintenance does that here) but still the bathroom fixture was dimming/flickering when turning the switch on. He worked around my schedule and showed up at a time that worked for me this afternoon. He quickly figured out what the problem was, and then fixed it! He knew I needed to have lights on and this couldn’t wait till tomorrow. I am sure that there are many issues he has to deal with at this property, and he’s thorough, efficient and professional. He deserves a raise! Thanks Jason!"
"Nice apartment but as a visitor I was absolutely appalled after reading their newsletter basically treating their senior population as children. Instead of thanking their residents who faithfully pay to live and enjoy the Highline, the office staff are TOO busy to even allow residents to "bother" them and require them to make an appointment just to ask simple questions. Disappointed that they make their residents feel devalued."
