"Literally the worst management ever - I had the landlord Roger change my locks as I was out of town because he claims I left my house ( I didn’t know I had to let him know if I leave town) and refused to change them back while I sat outside with my kids at 1am when we got back! Contacted their attorney and he changed my locks back within a hour and had stuff missing out of my home! Now every time I leave my house he’s outside driving by. DO NOT RENT HERE. - not to mention a mold issue took over two months to resolve and he refuses to fix garage door."

"I have really enjoyed living at Prairie Oaks for the last ten years. The administration and facilities teams are excellent - always ready to be of help and with a great attitude. The location is perfect: safe, quiet and convenient. I would highly recommend as a tranquil place to enjoy ones golden years."

"Loved living here. Mike and Melissa are a great team in keeping the place together. The neighborhood is quiet and very enjoyable to walk around. The apartments are quiet. We lived in an upper level above the garages, and the only noise we got was the occasional garage opening. Only down side of living here is Katz, the property management company. They are difficult to get a hold of and frustrating to work with. But their employees on site are great. I lived there for 4 years and I really miss it. You get the townhome feel at the apartment price."

"We've lived here for 5 years and have had a great experience, especially the last 1-2 years (2015-2017) and I feel that has a lot to do with Mike the maintenance guy and Melissa the property manager. They do a great job and are on top of everything and it really does feel like a family here. We have great neighbors that we now call friends. We hate to leave this place but recently purchased a home again. Pool is an added bonus!!"

"I've lived in this apartment community for three years, and it is the most accommodating and community oriented place that I have lived. Not only do you feel like you have a place of your own given the logistical layout of a private garage and private entrance, but you get to know your neighbors while everyone is outside grilling, walking their dogs, hanging out at the pool, or playing with their kids. It's much different than passing someone in the hallway. The area is super quiet; you'd never realize how close the schools and soccer field were if you didn't venture out. The management staff is phenomenal. Maintenance can come into your unit to repair something, and he leaves everything as he found it if not better. They are set on FIXING problems as opposed to making things last a little longer or another season, as I've seen in so many places. If there is a holdup - they are on top of letting you know why and how quickly they can get to you. There have even been times when they have shoveled my car out of a snow bank during a white out (that's a little above & beyond in my opinion) Overall, it's an awesome place to live. You'll see young couples, families, older individuals ... and with quick access to downtown you don't miss out on any of Madison's offerings. Highly recommend it. Come be my neighbor! Read less"
