"I did my PPL training at Proteus. Amazing school with good people that stick with you for life. Happy to call them all my friends and will be continuing instrument here eventually. I trained at SMF down the street as well and this was a night and day difference. More friendly, hands on and will guide you better through the process rather than just put you through a series of tests. If you’re in Santa Monica and want to learn to fly - go here. Also I flew Cessnas at SMF before and switched to pipers (high wing vs low wing). Once you switch, you’ll never go back! This fleet is way more fun to fly."

"Learnt to fly on the Piper Cherokee a few years ago. I was the slowest learner and the oldest in the group - mid 50ies to take up flying. I graduated with flying colors and now instrument training and on my way to fractional ownership in a cirrus. I learned to fly Cherokee’s , light sports , cirrus 20 and 22 all at this wonderful school. . Fantastic instructors like Jesse, Bernard, Rachel, Sydney, Ely, Max all played their part!
