"Our 2 boys have been students at Cornerstone Music Conservatory for years. Our older son switched from another music school because he had no passion for his music. We found Cornerstone to strike a happy balance between fun, education, and music. They offer lessons in just about anything you can think of. For example, between my 2 boys, they have lessons on oboe, saxophone, harmonica, piano, voice, guitar, and rock band. At first for the young children it feels like too much playing, not enough music. But trust in the educational process, for the teenagers in Cornerstone are truly fine musicians who love their music and will experience more joyous lives as a result."
"Cornerstone has something for everyone. If you're an adult wanting Alto Sax lessons or a parent with a little one wanting violin lessons for your kid Cornerstone has a teacher and time for you. My children have been attending Cornerstone for over five years and have been paired with excellent teachers, working on lessons tailored just enough to push them without burning them out. About once every few months Cornerstone holds small recitals for their students, exposing them to performing in front of an audience. A nice touch which I greatly appreciate."
"My younger kids are seven and five and the seven year old can read notes, is learning about flats and sharps and has the confidence to forge ahead into book 3. Watching her play "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star" and transpose it into two different keys leaves me impressed. We are so excited. The younger is repeating the first steps I saw his sister take and is so proud to be working on music, too. We went to an event and watched teenager after teenager rippling through high level classical music pieces and were enchanted. We surely hope to be there in five to ten years! With the kind, charming and relentless Miss Annie, herself a gifted musician and a magical teacher, and her team of teachers, we think we will be. We drive from far away to come every Saturday: worth it."
