Daiso

"I usually love going to ALL daiso stores but today I had a very unpleasant experience at the daiso in Northridge. My daughter loves the Popin' Cookin' DIY candy kits and they had a bunch on their shelves marked at $3.00. As I'm checking out Alfed (she had no name tag and I didn't catch her name when she told me) said they were $4.50 each. I told her that there was a bunch on the shelf marked at $3.00 and if I could speak with a manager so that he could honor the price they were marked at. The other cashier named Gigi said there was no manager at the moment and there was no way in her system to change the price. she was either to lazy to call a manager or felt that my complaint wasn't a valid one. What happened to the customer is always right, specially when the price to both items is clearly marked at $3.00. THESE YOUNG CACHIERS HAVE NO CLUE ON CUSTOMER SERVICE ETIQUETTE. Do better, either train your employees to mark the prices correctly or train your cashiers to honor prices marked."

"Loved my visit to Daiso! It’s like a Japanese Version of the dollar store. All items are $1.75 unless otherwise priced. I had so much fun walking up and down the aisles looking at all the cute items. I left with some Japanese drinks and some cute Disney pens. They had a lot of office supplies as well so I’m definitely going to go back and grab some of those. They have a lot of storage boxes, plushies, toys for kids, makeup, cleaning supplies, kitchen items, and more. The list goes on and on. Most of the items are priced in Yen but they have a pricing chart that you can easily compare it all to dollars so you know the correct pricing."

"I always came to this store way many years ago when I was living & worked not too far from Northridge. This store has more selections of stuffs the one by woodland hills doesn't. So every now and then I'll stop by just to "hunt" for cute little stuffs. Got a lot of these bags as souvenirs for my loved ones when I'm visiting them. $1.75 each More functional than expensive souvenirs at the airports stores!"
