"Fabulous place. This particular museum features archival photographs from the silent movie days of motion picture production, movie props, historic documents and other movie related memorabilia and more. It’s one of the oldest building in Hollywood (1913) and get this, they turned it into a Hollywood studio museum. Plus it’s right near the infamous Hollywood Bowl."
"It's really not much but packed with early film history. Used the porch to hang out in the semi-park within the Hollywood Bowl parking lot ."
"I’ve been visiting this preservation organization’s flagship location for decades. It’s a wonderful collection of exhibits, photos, artifacts and information (including the structure itself) that chronicles the history of Hollywood, it’s people, and the etymology of the film industry. Special events, screenings, lectures, make ‘The Barn’ a must for industry enthusiasts."
"Very interesting if your into old films and the history of the movies in LA. Staff were very welcoming and gave a mini overview tour before leaving me to explore. Only ten minutes walk from Hollywood / Highland metro station."
"Cool place. I wish I'd known of it before. Historical Hollywood stories with books by authors with fascinating amounts of their times in history of Hollywood."
