West House at Foxtown

"I am coming up on completing my second year living in a one bedroom apartment at the West House at Foxtown. I work in the area and wanted a shorter daily commute. I love how quiet the building is, I very rarely hear any noise from other apartments surrounding me. The amenities are a great bonus that help make the overall cost of the apartment more feasible, since you won't need to be paying for a gym membership or extra for parking, and there are community offerings such as music nights in the summer and the ability to reserve community spaces for parties or gatherings. All of the appliances and furnishings within the apartment are top quality. I have only had a very few small maintenance issues within my apartment, and they are always addressed quickly and efficiently when they do occur. Neighbors here are all friendly and respectful, there is a community feel but everyone is also given their space and privacy. It is a very walkable area close to restaurants, grocery stores, and nature trails. Anything you could need is within a 10-15 minute drive in either direction. I love living here and can't see myself leaving anytime soon."

"Personally, I find the pricing quite expensive considering the area of the property. Sure, the amenities are topnotch, but we're not really in the city. I also had an issue where the maintenance guys just opened my door casually when I was sleeping, and I did not get prior notification of their arrival. I thought I was going to be murdered by strangers. So shocking and disappointing. We're 4 months into our lease, so far my husband loves everything about the apartment and the amenities... and then there's me hoping there won't be a price increase for next year's lease agreement. Otherwise, I'll be looking for another apartment that's worth it."

"Property management sold me a two year lease yet only honored it for 19 months. They were not helpful when calling to talk about they lease issue and raised rent by $300 out of nowhere."

"Moving here was the best decision! I was sold the minute I walked in the building. The units are beautiful and the amenities are better than anywhere else in the area. Property manager, Becky, does a great job communicating with tenants and organizing fun community events! The maintenance team almost always responds same day if something needs fixing. I have no complaints and have really enjoyed my time living here so far!"

"I've lived at West House for a little over a year now, and am extremely happy with my decision. The managers are very responsive when you need help or have questions, and are also great with communicating any issues or events going on in the building or on the property. I love the amenities we have in our individual units (the wine fridge really sold me!) as well as the community amenities (two separate workout spaces on different floors is great). Generally it's quiet, but you still see neighbors and don't feel isolated."
