"My two kids have been taking lessons from Elly since 2019. We actually switched from another piano teacher who was moving out of the area. When the pandemic started, we continued with online piano lessons and then switched back from virtual to in-person lessons mid-last year. Elly is firm but kind. My kids' comfort levels have increased considerably, and their overall confidence levels went up as well. My oldest is graduating high school next year, so we will be looking to include one or two of his pieces on his college applications. My youngest will also continue with Elly until she graduates."

"My daughter and son only took a few lessons before we quit. I would say if you are given a Monday slot, don’t take it. In September, we paid $300 for each child and only got two lessons (30 mins). I don’t know why we need to pay for public school holidays. We paid $150 material fee for each child and Elly told us the rest of the money would go to a fund that support other children. I’m trying to understand that as well…"

She is attentive to students’ interests, giving them the opportunity to play a broad range of music, including classical, pop, and Christmas carols.
