"Shaw is very experienced with oriental rugs, his knowledge is encyclopedic, and he has a great selection available. I don't know how, but he also knows all of his rugs very well: tell him what you want and he'll show you options from all the rugs wrapped up around the store. He also sells rugs on consignment; we recently left a large, dark rug with him for a couple years. It didn't sell because it was just too dark for most houses in the SB area, but he gladly let us take it back after we moved and had a use for it. Overall, a very honest, nice, and interesting rug dealer."
