"The venue is beautiful, but the new art director has completely gutted all the talent and destroyed the company. So many fellow long time patrons have also expressed their immense disappointment with the current director I fear it'll be only a matter of time before SF ballet is viewed, not as the crown jewel of ballet in America, but just another mediocre modern atrocity lacking any memorable talent. It's been the biggest disappointment since COVID."

"I got a swan lake ticket to celebrate Helgi’s last season. But when I got the door, the usher didn’t let me in because I don’t have a booster vaccine over the last 6 months. I explained that I’m not eligible for a booster due to medical condition. And it is what is said in the ticket, bringing fully vaccinated card and if eligible, a booster proof. The manager even said that they have to reject people with chronicle disease, cancers, any medical exceptions of the vaccine. While I can imagine that many people will have issues that cannot get frequent booster vaccine due to changing medical conditions, The SF ballet is not accepting alternative method like PCR or rapid test. But simply just looking at a vaccination card for all people over 12. This really grows the discrimination to people with medical conditions. #discrimination #COVIDdiscrimination #stopasianhate #vaccinediscrinimation"
