"Great course even if you have zero riding experience like me. Instructor Dillon struck a great balance between enthusiastic coaching, professional approach and having a good time. Lots of time actually riding and learning to handle the bike. You can bring your own bike if you check with the office first. My partner (who already rides) took this class with me and thought it was a significantly better class than other CSMP courses he has attended in the area. Very fun, highly informative, super recommend it as a way to try out riding and gain handling skills."
"Came into this class not knowing how to ride a motorcycle at all but the instructors eased you into it so well. I lucked out into having a class with only 3 of us total so we had more attention and more time to ride which was great. Q and Erin were great, patient instructors. I feel more confident with riding motorcycles now but not enough to be able to go out and ride out on my own. They definitely teach you some essential class but not everything to go out on your own I feel. At the end of the skills test they did a simulation of turning from stop sign intersections, which is something I felt should’ve been actually taught as a lesson. They did say they offer intermediate classes for more skills training. All in all I would recommend taking the classes especially if you’re a beginner and interested in trying motorcycles out!"
"Lessons were fun and informative, however traffic navigation was neglected slightly in favor of maneuvering techniques and practice. New Honda Grom was a nice beginner bike to practice on too"
"I had a great experience taking the course over the weekend. It was my first time riding and Evie was so calm and confident I knew I could trust her coaching. The course itself sets you up well as a good rider and will probably take the intermediate and advanced courses in the future."
"Q, Patrick, and Kieran were outstanding! They made the class very engaging and super fun learning environment. The class consisted of 9 students and the instructors did very well managing the group. They showed us great patience and kindness in class whenever we made mistakes. The instructors made sure that you’re capable of doing the riding exercises as safely as possible and develop good habits from it and hoping you’ll be able to apply those habits when you start riding out in the real world. I left feeling more informed than before and boosted my confidence in riding. The Pacific Motorcycle Training facility provided the same motorcycle for all students so there were no complaints about having a heavier bike nor having a taller bike than someone else. It was nice that we all had the same motorcycles because it created equal learning opportunities for everyone. Overall, I had a great experience. Looking forward to taking intermediate and advanced classes in the future!"
