Reviews
"I am reviewing this company as someone who has not received their services. This review is solely on their interactions with me before even starting services. I called and left a message for them on a Monday. There were no holidays etc. They returned my call on a Friday evening and left a brief message telling me to call back. Which I did within 3 minutes, but they did not answer the phone. The following Tuesday, Monday was predefines day, they called me back. The individual was curt and informed me they wouldn’t take my insurance. When I tried to inquire of other options he said they were unwilling to do the work required to accept military insurance. I informed him I was having trouble finding any services and needed them. He said that his company was not interested in working with our insurance in any foreseeable future. He also refused to offer me any idea of other payments accepted etc. He had no desire to work with me. I give them a single star because companies that work with aba therapy should I care about the kids. They should want to help kids. Yes, at the end of the day they need to make money, but if they are driven by a passion to help the children, they will try to help you find services. I call that drive to help children passion. Personally I want a company that has passion for what they do. A company that will help me help my autistic son, not a company that is interested in only how much money they can get from me. He could have told me in the first message that they didn’t accept my insurance and not waste my time waiting to work with his company, but instead he wasted my time and made it obvious they only cared about the money and not the kids. His comments when I told him that we are struggling to find much needed aba therapy, suggested he was aware that our insurance was not accepted by many of the groups in the area, but he didn’t care and wouldn’t try to change how they do things to help kids in the area with my insurance. He even said they were aware there were families that need aba with our insurance, but would not work with them anytime soon. My husband is active duty navy and it isn’t easy moving all the time. It isn’t my sons fault he was born to us, yet he is the one who will suffer. I am a high school math teacher with a masters degree in education, but I can’t keep a job when I move all the time. My career is secondary to my husbands desire to serve his country. So I don’t have a secondary insurance. As a punishment, my son can’t get help he needs for his autism because the insurance is “too much work” to work with. I am aware that they require treatment plans and registered professionals. When a company says they don’t want to do that I know something isn’t right. Do you have board certified RBT’s? BCBA’s? You don’t want them sending you uncertified and undertrained personnel that could do more damage to your baby than no therapy. I think it’s terrible that companies care so little for the kids they not only refuse to consider the needs of families with military insurance, but choose to be insensitive with clients they seem not worth their time. I would have been interested in paying out of pocket, but he wouldn’t even give me the option, and honestly, I’m not sure I want to work with a company like his considering all that. So again, never having their services, this review is based on the discernment I have been given to see this companies true colors in how they treat clients “they can’t get anything out of”. It shows how little they actually care for the kids."
