"We've been really happy with our decision to have our kids attend Pinkerton/COHS. The teachers have, overall, been excellent & the extracurricular programs and sports are well run and fun. College prep has been pretty well handled - I feel like we have solid information as our student is applying, and the classes he's taken have helped him both with that & other potential career opportunities."
"If there was an option for zero stars i would do it. Wifi is trash and always down. Math and Spanish Departments struggle to teach their students except for a few teachers. COHS is broke. They deny the teachers that need money who actually teach and make a difference yet they still demand "better" teachers. They made COHS so strict. Class of '09-15' was fun and lit. Now it is so strict and boring. Advo is pointless and yet they add more lessons thinking it will help. We dont need advo at all. And if you got 4 tardies you get friday school. 4 minutes late you serve 1 hour after school. you dont serve your hour you get allday oci which is dumb. COHS really changed. We need to change the principle."
"One star only because I cannot give zero. Music teacher, Mike Mangonon, is the worst!! Insults students, very demeaning attitude & doesn't know how to teach. Not even experienced in strings; not qualified to teach an orchestra class. With counselors and vice principals notified, parent was not notified of sexual harrassment at school. Failing school all around. My sister is in the middle of a school transfer to say the least."
"I have a graduate from COHS 2014 and will have one again in 2017 and all I can say is COHS is a wonderful school with great staff that truly cares about the students. They also have great sport programs and a wonderful campus. I'm very happy with the choice I made to have my children attend Pinkerton Jr. High & COHS."
