"I got Mr. Wilson's name through a legal membership I pay for. I figured I better make use of it, right? I called because I had questions about a Living Trust for my husband and me. I really didn't even know what a Living Trust or what a Will really did. Am I supposed to have one? or the other? or both? It's very confusing. I've heard how the state can take away my money or my kids if we die with no Will. I learned a lot from our conversation. "Divorce is difficult. Divorce is bewildering and painful, so finding a lawyer who is both professionally competent and empathetic can be challenging. However, Jeffrey T Wilson is both and I have no hesitation in recommending his services in family law. My divorce was, on paper, a straightforward one but due to my ex-wife’s intransigence and stubbornness my case became very contentious and quite onerous. Despite the myriad of challenges Mr Wilson remained focused and was able to provide clear guidance and options in regards to dealing with these issues and did not waver in his support. To add further complication, my ex changed her lawyer at a critical stage in the process and retained an ‘aggressive’ new counsel . However, despite this and a lot of ‘saber rattling’ from her side it ultimately made absolutely no difference whatsoever and Mr. Wilson’s meticulous preparation, deep understanding of my case and the law prevailed. Not only did I receive all that I was entitled to in regards to division of joint property, I also received a significant portion of my legal costs which had been increased unnecessarily by my ex. The issue of costs ‘went to the wire’ and a court appearance was pending, but again Mr Wilson’s approach and guidance resulted in her side backing down, agreeing to our division of costs and cancelling the court appearance. In summary I do not believe that my case would have resulted in such a positive outcome had I not engaged the services of Jeffrey T Wilson.
