Party City

"Very bad consumer service in this Party City by the Market Square. Store manager was very rude and LIED to consumers.I pre-ordered candy jar containers, one of them has SUGAR in it. When I let the store manager Kacey know about it(03/02, around 4:30pm), she took that container off my hands and rudely threw to the counter. The lid fell off and away from the jar. When she came back, she was mad and told me there were NO MORE containers in the store. ****Check it out, when I walked to the container aisle, there were FOUR(4) brand new, exactly the same containers. What comes the worse was when I asked her who would be her supervisor and I'd like to let the supervisor, who was her supervisor, know the situation, she replied, "nope, it's just me." It was very frustrated that what a customer could do if the store manager misbehaved? Is it that why she could do whatever to the customers? The other employee worked the same time as her was nice and helpful, but it was still a very bad experience that the STORE MANAGER lied about little things and you can't even have a contact information who I could report to. "Please give us a call at (800) PARTY CITY" to "make it right" IS NOT the actual solution. It only makes it looking like, "oh, okay, but we won't do anything.""

"The Party City in the Market Square at Arden Fair is one of the biggest Party City stores. They have everything I want for the parties. The store is also very clean and bright inside. Everything in the store looks new and very well organized. The workers are pleasant and attentive. The parking lot in front of Party City is a less busy section of Arden Fair Mall. So getting a parking space near the store is easy."

"I have to give one star for the experience. On the evening of 9/26 I went to this location to pick-up an online balloon order for my daughter’s birthday. I parked in the closest curbside pick-up spot, and called the store to let them know I had arrived. The girl who picked up told me, with attitude, I had to come in, that the store was really busy. There were two girls I saw working, through the window, and the store had maybe 1-2 customers. There was no reason why one of them could not have brought the balloons out, especially after sharing that I had 3 sleeping babies/toddler in the car. Not sure I’ll be back."

"The staff here needs better training on professionalism and appropriate conversations to be had with OTHER customers talking about customers. An employee of ours was standing in line waiting to check out with something we needed in a pinch and the cashier was talking bad about our company van with another customer making comments about slashing our tires and that we are trying to "out-do" Party City. We are not on the same level as Party City, nor try to be but the point of this is why would you EVER state to another customer that you are going to slash another customer's tires just because they also offer balloons!? SO uncalled for and extremely unprofessional. My employee did speak out about this and the cashier had no idea we were standing right there hearing her conversation and cashier tried to laugh it off and joke about how she was kidding. That's not something to "kid" about. Truly so unprofessional, please give your staff better training."
