The Cave

"A few days ago, I watched an employee go off and say mean things about someone who tried to return a defective item without a receipt as soon as the person left the store. The person who was trying to return the item was very nice and understanding the whole time, although disappointed. The employee's actions were pretty disgusting and have stuck with me. On top of that situation, I really just don't like this store and never have, I just haven't felt the need to say anything until now. It's very cluttered, messy, stuffy, and dirty. I get a headache and nausea every time I go in there. The only reason I ever go in is because my boyfriend likes collectibles and movies."

"Great place. I was really impressed for my 1st time experiencing this store. I was a bit overwhelmed with so many things that I wanted to look at, but ran out of time. Enjoyed myself."

"Cool store with pretty much every type of collectible item you can think of- action figures, vinyl records, comic books, cds, cassette tapes, used clothing and a bunch of other interesting junk. You could spend hours in here and find some awesome treasures. I wasn't super impressed with the comic book collection, it was a pretty small shelf, but otherwise we really enjoyed our visit here and will check it out when we are back in the area!"

"Unfortunately, this store has lost sight of it's loyal customers who have spent $$$$ since it's opening! Prices have also lost sight on reality! Pretty bad when you can find the same (new) products at Walmart, for less? Recently tried to sell back over 150 A-rated movies, in excellent condition to the Arden location! Most of the them were from the Cave and priced from $4 to $15 (series). Per the condition and most of the movies from them, I was expecting a decent return but was jolted/shocked when they offered $24 cash or $34 store credit? It's not about the money but the principle! Our family spent hundreds each visit, 1st at the Folsom and then Arden store, after it opened! To be made a ridiculous offer, was the turning point! My family and I will Not be visiting the Cave anymore! As I stated, money was never the object! After picking up my movies I asked the people in the buy back department to direct me to the nearest Goodwill store, they smirked and mumbled? I told them never mind I'll Google it and went 3 blocks away and delivered them to the local Goodwill store! They were amazed at the quantity, quality and condition of the movies and thanked me, stating: "now we have some Great movies to sell, you're going to make a lot of people happy"! That's all I wanted to hear!!!"

"Absolutely love the place every time I go in there and I don't go in there much. I should they got so much stuff there. They even buy stuff and every time I go in there. It seems like all the employees are just so laid back and so eager to help. And it's very comfortable in there and there's just so much stuff to look at. You'll be in there for hours. I wish I had a bunch of money. I would go in there and just go crazy. Yeah, from old and new from comic books to figurines. They got all of it. Had a good time and I'm willing to go back again. Can't wait gonna tell all my friends about it. Take them with me."
