"So I met with Ms. Schaffer to ask some questions about my divorce. She was the most arrogant and rude person I have ever talked to in my life! I would not recommend this law firm. I had the worst experience dealing with this attorney. Incompetent. Unresponsive. Unprofessional. I rarely leave bad reviews but this one is a must. Don't let this woman waste your time or money."

"Sarah Schaffer, is an unethical attorney in San Diego. I signed a legal services agreement on February 17, 2021 with my new attorney, and he did not submit the Substitution of Attorney until March 18, 2021 when he filed for a motion in court on my behalf. I cannot tell my attorney what to do. That was his decision to wait for a month to file. So, when we were in court, Sarah Schaffer as an opposing counsel verbally attacked me in the courtroom, saying that I intentionally ignored her and delayed the signing of the settlement. She was cruel and mean. Sarah Schaffer said in the front of judge that I fired 6 or 7 attorneys and made exaggerations about the facts. And plus if I fired an attorney, its my decision and none of Sarah Schaffer’s business. She made up stories and exaggerated, and damaged my reputation in front of the Judge and people in the courtroom. She has neither kindness or manners. Right after this review I'm going to straight to The Bar Association and file a complain."

"We had sought an attorney who was knowledgeable with Military Retirement Pay to former spouse issues. While her website stated she was familiar with Military divorce issues, we found ourselves constantly questioning if she was working for us or for the respondent. Had we not questioned her with what she was telling us to do the entire way and argued she was incorrect in her "interpretations" of the stipulation that was already in place, we would have gotten back only a fraction of what was owed to us from the respondent. Not to mention this attorney was giving helpful advice to the other side more than she ever did for us. Absolutely disgusted with her loyalty to her own client and her loyalty to everyone else but us. I would never recommend this attorney."
