TERI Campus of Life
About the Business
TERI Campus of Life is a school located at 555 Deer Springs Road in San Marcos, California, United States. The institution is dedicated to modeling an integrated community where everyone learns, creates, and lives well side-by-side. The vision for the campus is to bring together children and adults with disabilities, their families, and the community in a center of innovation and excellence. The Campus offers a variety of programs including performing arts, fine arts, fitness, nutrition, organic agriculture, and social gatherings. The institution aims to transform lives through love, compassion, joy, and the dedication of its staff.
Construction of the Campus is currently underway on 20 acres of rural hills in San Marcos. The institution aims to address the growing need for services for individuals with disabilities in the community. In September 2021, TERI opened the Tom and Mary Tomlinson Vocational Center, providing career training and experiences for adults with special needs. The campus also features a Therapeutic Equestrian Center, which offers healing activities for students facing physical, mental, and emotional challenges.
The institution is supported by the Walter J. & Betty C. Zable Foundation Performing Arts & Fine Arts Center, the Health & Wellness Center, Aquatics Center, and the Verna Harrah Culinary Institute. TERI is grateful for the support of its corporate partner, HomeAid of San Diego, in building the Campus of Life. The institution aims to be a beacon of hope for the special needs community and provide opportunities for all individuals to thrive.

"Such a beautiful place, open to the public for delicious treats! We stopped by for some coffee and found delicious pastries. The cafe has art and handmade decorations for sale, such a great place to visit."
"“TERI is a glimpse into the future of the special needs community. “ I have a 4 year old with trisomy 21 whose favorite netflix show is SPIRIT RIDING FREE. We got an opportunity to visit the equestrian center in San Marcos during a family trip to the SD safari park. Deborah greeted us & gave my son a stickers. Low & behold, she ended up being the MC for the event where my son had a great time & got to witness what special needs within TERI community. There were so many highlights from “best-dressed” Sebastian bragging about making the news to 1 student roping while still sitting on his horse. With the TERI band, Inspired Resale boutique and other facets of TERI on display, we got a chance to see that TERI is a glimpse into the future of the special needs community. It was good to see the mayor attending the event demonstrating that San Marcos is on board with TERI’s plans. This 20 acre lot is staged to be a national beacon for special needs/autism with the right funds & support. Lbjr"
"Like. For what it is thus far, and what it will be once all stages of construction are complete."
