"This is a high school that is in the progress of transforming itself into great. In a diverse community of lower to upper middle income earners, it has not had a good reputation of late for a place of great education but it is changing for the better. Students there are believing they can do better and are getting a better education. The teachers I have interacted with all have a renewed belief of making a positive difference in the student lives. There is the sound of construction as the old is being worn down and replaced with new and much needed buildings. The old athletic field has been renewed as well. And the kids, gotta love the kids. They energize me just walking on campus."
"This school is really good and I actually wanted to attend it when I was in HS, but didn't get to; however my little sister went here for one year in her junior year and really liked it, especially the art classes. I especially enjoy their tennis courts. They have plenty of them and you can even play on them over the weekend. They even have classes on several activities during the summer that is not run by the school, but is on the school campus."
"This is the worst school for those with special needs. My sister was forced to put on deodorant by her teacher in front of the entire class. She was humiliated. They wouldn't let her walk around the school during lunch and break. They treated her like she was a three year old toddler. They wouldn't even let her mingle with the other freshman or others. They shouldn't be allowed to separate students based on their needs and abilities. This is down right disgusting that they even think it's okay. If you yourself are disabled this is the worst option for you."
"For the most part, it was a nice school, I mean with the history behind it up until today. However, academically, it is a horrible school. They didn't do anything to help me to graduate until last minute in my senior year with 113 credits. Mind you I went to charter then transfered to mount Miguel in 2013 my sophomore year. I constantly asked, what can I do to graduate? There was supposedly nothing until senior year ( my butt). I suffered with 25 classes my whole senior year. Plus the staff let students leave campus early without parents consent and the staff encourage students to fight. Out of the 400 students of mount Miguel high school in the class of 2016, only 127 graduated. Tell me why I would send my future kids here???!!!!"
"Very good school, and very underrated. I do not regret going to Mount Miguel for high school."
