"Not. User. Friendly. To be more specific, if you were to go to this school, without the intentions to be an athlete for the several sports teams, or joining their NJORTC ranks, don't expect to be treated like an equal to them. Even then, the Seniors take first picks on everything, so those who are Juniors and below get the table scraps. Friendly, helpful teachers are few and far between. If you don't get at least ONE of them during each year (which you have to sign up to go to this school annually), you have a minimal chance to maintain sanity. The organization of this school is mediocre at most times, and the faculty are mostly unhelpful on most matters. During the last days of each grading period, every teacher shoves tests and projects down your throat, and each teacher expects each of their students to have their class be prioritized, which is humanly impossible. One final issue I shall describe is the pep rallies. You had best hope you get a ticket out, because the rallies are ridiculously loud, and irritating. The bleachers are more crowded than a mass grave, the noise is louder than an atom bomb if it went off an inch from your face, and the strobe lights are enough to give anyone risk of seizure."
"Senior year was pretty interesting. From a biker coming into our campus twice and the school becoming infamous for the countless students and people getting run over and hit by cars to the news reporting sensation, it was substantially great. But to be honest, the idea of half of staff going after a biker who did a harmless prank instead of administering the students with messed up schedules sounds pretty ridiculous in my opinion. Serra's always doing the wrong and less important things. The staff are great people too, but not too great in terms of keeping it together in the office. Also there's always something sketchy going on and no one in charge seems to notice. Sorry Serra, I enjoyed my time here and made cool friends but there's a good amount of room for improvement."
"I have been at this school for 3 years I don't know how it may have been before but the main office has to get their s*** together because every year there has been a problem with the main schedule. Thank Satan I graduated next year."
"This is such a terrible school, expecially the counseling at this school, great teachers with crappy counseling, I was suppose you graduate 2015, I came in multiply of times saying goes that I have taken these classes over again from my freshman year. My counselor refused me and told me "we have a new system" but isn't my education more important that just some system, so I had to accept the fact that she was not going to talk to me about my classes so guess what yall, I took art 1.. ART ONE ALL OVER AGAIN and then my senior year, oh the joys of this school, she pulls me in. Decides to embarrass me right in front of my mother telling me that I need to redo a class that I had an for in where the past year she had assigned me to redo a math class where I got a D in which isn't good but is still a credit (idk if a D is still considered a credit) Honestly if she would have listened that I need a class change I wouldn't be in this situation right now, but I have a good job and that's fine, I didn't go to college but I have a job. If you want your kids to go to this school take them out, they are better at Patrick Henry and all the other schools just NOT this one. Oh and Shenualt was my counselor ;)"
"The teachers don't quite prepare you for college, I don't recommend this school if your child is not independent. The majority of the teachers in this school push everything to the last minute and do not quite exactly check thoroughly that all students understand. It's not fun being here, and lots of tedious work on good, hardworking students and almost none for the bad."
