Reviews of King-Chavez Primary Academy
"Great Friendly's staff all the teacher i have meet all are so caring. The principal was the counselor of the school years ago. He is always smiling greeting everyone"
"Zero stars. This schools k3 staff did not let my son stand in front of the line ever to be the leader. They said he had to stay on the back because he was bad.. my son tears when he talks about that. We will never for get gow they told him he was bad and bot gonna be a leader because of that. Imagine if they would jave let him try just one time. What cjange it could have made him. Or just a good feeling to put in a child. Of course she was pregnant and couldnt put up with one child....Then the principle would want to have a "CHAT" wiyh no eye contact lol. That is the worst. Part. This school staff have no respect for needy kids. Zero stars if i could and my son wasnt needy to top it off."
"King Chavez elementary, is located in the Stockton neighborhood, the name of the school was previously STOCKTON ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, But the stigma of the civil war Commodore and the changing of the areas ethnicity from predominantly White to Mexican and black the school was renamed, but in 2017 we have seen the neighborhood being repopulated by whites once again, it seems a full circle of coexistence has begun to occur, Robert Field Stockton (August 20, 1795 – October 7, 1866) was a United States Navy commodore, notable in the capture of California during the Mexican–American Warbut also for causing the USS Princetondisaster of 1844. He was a naval innovator and an early advocate for a propeller-driven, steam-powered navy. Stockton was from a notable political family and also served as a U.S. Senator from New Jersey. The renaming took place in the late 80's , I am glad to say I was in the final alumni class of Stockton elementary school,"
"Nice school bad staff......starting from preschool up to grade school. Staff treat children harsh and with no respect. Principal feels as if he owns the school. Has no manner toward parents, children and staff. Gave them 1 star because i had no option of 0. Ask parents for money$$ and have constant "fundraiser or donation" school just got a makeover but other than that horrible....plants are dead, materials are broken or poor conditions. Took my children out after being here for 2 years. First year, try to look over all these, 2nd year was done, took my children out before end of school. Nasty experience hope school get shut down soon! Or replace all staff!!"
"This Elementary School was Formerly Commodore Stockton Elementary School or Stockton Elementary. The cities ofStockton, California, Stockton, Missouri andFort Stockton, Texas are named in his honor, as is the borough of Stockton, New Jersey,Stockton Street in San Francisco and Fort Stockton, San Diego, California, which is now a ruin, but was occupied during the Mexican–American War."
