"It's literally the WORST law firm I've ever dealt with!!!!! She promised the moon on a case that she had NEVER HANDLED BEFORE (Visitation Rights for the Grandparents/ Aunts/ family of a deceased parent) and then sent one of her "In Training Attorneys" with another one fresh out of school to handle my case! They were NOT prepared, the Judge couldn't find any of the evidence, pictures, texts, submitted because they filed it LATE, I had to do the skip tracing work to have the person served and the whole hearing was about 10 minutes with the Attorney just listening to the judge and not bothering to fight for my family. My brother is deceased and his X was doing drugs & even told the judge she was in rehab (I pray she sticks with sobriety, and I respect her for seeking help and pray shes back on track) living with a man who she no longer lives with and the judge even told the mother it IS WITHIN THE CHILDRENS BEST INTEREST that she allows them to know their fathers side of the family! However; these "Charlie's Angels" looking Attorneys couldn't even defend these innocent children who lost their father. I hope for the sake of the children the mother is now receiving survivors benefits to be able to provide the children the life they deserve & I hope the mother finds it in her heart one day to forgive and allow the children their rightful rights to be in the fathers side of the family lives as well like the judge told her is in the best interest of the Children. These lawyers charged DOUBLE what they originally told me and didn't do anything as simple as even skip tracing the current address on the mom to serve her, which is absolutely free of charge and public information. They recently sent the other portion of the Debt to collections and it will sit there for the next 7 years bcz I already paid them OVER the amount she told me it would be when the new attorney had not ONE REBUTTAL TO ANYTHING IN COURT and did NOTHING for me but most importantly for these innocent children that didn't ask for this situation! The mother has since moved out of San Diego which I'm very happy for, because her relatives live minutes from where their dad was found deceased & its horrible area filled with drugs and I pray God watches over the mother and the children and one day she'll do what's right for the children and put her anger to the side and make mends and mend our relationship with her for the sake of the children. These Lawyers though????? SAVE YOUR MONEY OR FILE PRO SE AND REPRESENT YOURSELF!! You can get all the legal documents at the family law library and represent your case correctly without these "Glamor Girls" with little to no experience!!!!!! If I could give a 0 stars, I would! And all the other bad reviews, BELIEVE THEM, BCZ THEY'RE EXACTLY WHAT MS. BUTLER DID TO MY FAMILY!! Update: With the reply below from the owner, I would like to know what exactly Elyse Butler did other than train her employee as a new attorney???? And Managing Attorney??? That doesn't mean anything other than a title as the attorney in that office Elyse dumped the case on that had less than 5 years experience (which I was never told an inexperienced attorney would be given my case to apparently train / practice law with)... I hired Elyse, based on certain things, not a completely different attorney I had never spoken to. NEITHER ATTORNEY HAD EVER TAKEN A CASE LIKE THIS!!!! And whatever was signed was NOT what I was told it would cost!!! So, being that my experience with this law firm and Elyse Butler the owner sounds exactly like all the other horrible reviews you'll find if you dig for them, I doubt complete strangers made up the same stories about Elyse and her practices! Update AGAIN.... As you can see, Elyse Butler, the owner and her minions, deleted their comments to me.. Why? Because they're liars and can't show what they did for $20,000.... Don't be fooled and dig deep into all the sites that have reviews, bcz the dirty ones that match this behavior of them are there!!!! Better yet, work things out with your X and save you both money!"
