"We started with Sylvan over the summer to help my daughters avoid loosing all they had learned the previous school year! It certainly worked! So far this school year they have been earning 100% scores on all of their spelling and vocabulary tests! I couldn’t be more pleased with the kind and dedicated tutors at Sylvan! So very grateful they can assist with Homework and test studying in an effective yet fun way for my daughters!"

"I don't know how else to express my disappointment with such a large tutoring chain. To hear my son spent almost half of his learning time in the waiting room is ridiculous. My husband and I work hard to provide for our kids with a great education and thought we'd add to their education with tutoring... Needless to say we're wasting our money with our son waiting for his tutor over 20 min later with other students. It took my son having to call my husband to let him know, no one had acknowledged him and at this point still in the waiting area with other students. My Husband walked in to find someone, he open the door to their back area to get a tutor. Only to have a tutor say, “Oh, I didn’t know anyone was here.” Seriously?! What's even more frustrating is that these tutors know when students are scheduled to come in!!!! Once they found out how upset we were, a worker ( NOT the manager mind you) contacted us to refund for the one session. No, our son will not be coming back. Don’t let the recent 5 Stars posted since this incident fool you. Please look elsewhere!!"

"My son had tutoring today at 3pm, he sat in the waiting room for 23 mins with a few other kids. I walked in and one of the tutors in the back said oh I didn’t know anyone was here. There were 3 kids sitting in the waiting room how does an employee not know there are children without their parents sitting alone, that blows me away. I am supposed to trust your company that my child is supervised at all times. Then she says oh his tutor is in the back. If she’s in the back why on earth were the 3 kids alone for 23 mins till I walked in and said something. They called and wanted to give me a free session. This isn’t about money this is about the SAFETY of children. You’ll notice all the new 5 star reviews after my review. You’ll want to look elsewhere for company that you can trust."
